Lillerne is proud to bring you the debut full-length cassette by Philadelphia’s Pontiac Streator. 180’s Choice is a beautiful collection of immersive environments and collaged soundscapes—slowly intermingling and lingering above soft atmospherics and subtle record fuzz and hiss. Each track is an adventurous journey through soft wrinkles of sound and dashes of nostalgic melody and sound. There’s a familiarity and sly humor underlying every minute of 180’s Choice—serious and thoughtful in demeanor and form, but loose enough so as not to be stuffy or staid. This is an eternal repeater, and I’m glad to have it as #99 in the Lillerne catalog. Edition of 50 pro-dubbed, Type II/Chrome Plus cassettes with full-color, double-sided artwork.

The range of emotions experienced whilst listening to this tape is as impressive as the fact that it plays like one cohesive track, journey, or life. The artists featured here under different names have become heavyweights in the game (Huerco S., uon, exael, Ulla Straus) so it is hard to fathom just how great a sequel to this would be. This is one of my favorite projects ever and something that could be played over and over into blissful eternity. Edward

This is an underwater odyssey that takes me deep into bliss. Physically and mentally relaxing music, but music that grabs you from the start and leads you on an underwater space exploration. Maybe it is not even music, not ambient; it is an experience, a journey. Taking us back to a time when we floated as cells in ancient seas. This is a masterpiece.
