Glass House returns in 2015 after some amazing releases on Cosmic Winnetou, Tranquility Tapes and SicSic. Under this moniker, the duo of Ian Collier and Eric Brannon create lush, massive and equally dynamic chunks of space and melody. Shimmering moments of beauty effortlessly swirl and bend into steely and sharp drones that unravel and spill back into a blissful oblivion. Headlands feels like a ride into a stunning, but at times unnerving, locale that’s far away from the everyday reality of home. Easy to lose oneself in this release. An edition of 50 pro-dubbed Chrome/Type II cassettes with full color, double-sided artwork.
Exquisite, relaxing, and quite trippy, this release is a highlight of the vast ctatsu sound exhibit. Be warned: listening to this music can lead to sustained higher levels of consciousness that can be hazardous to the practice of conformity and consumerism. JLP
